Boise Ballet Academy is proud to be the only Pre-professional ballet school in the Treasure Valley that offers The GYROTONIC® Method.

The GYROTONIC® Method is a movement method that engages the entire person. Opening energy pathways, increasing range of motion, improving strength and flexibility. The GYROTONIC® Method is practiced in a private session with a certified trainer on specialized equipment. Boise Ballet Academy is glad to offer these sessions which put the client in a one-on-one situation with the trainer to accomplish goals in a way that is specific to the one client.

The GYROTONIC® Method is open to anyone, and we especially recommend it as a cross training for dancers. People come out of a GYROTONIC® session with increased freedom of movement, greater strength and agility. The human body is designed to work as one harmonious system, to follow arching and spiraling paths of motion, and to transition from one movement to the next smoothly and efficiently. The GYROTONIC® Method creator, Juliu Horvath, designed a specialized line of equipment around these natural movement patterns.

Boise Ballet Academy's GYROTONIC® Trainer

Sarah Stein is a certified teacher in The GYROTONIC® Method. Having used The GYROTONIC® Method herself since 2011 with trainer Catharine Grow, she has earned her GYROTONIC® certification in 2014 so she could share her knowledge with dancers and non-dancers alike. Ms. Stein taught The GYROTONIC® Method to inspire greater knowledge of the body at Urban Body San Jose. She is also certified to teach GYROTONIC® as a Musical Journey, which is the musical portion of the GYROTONIC® Expansion System.
